Privacy notice

What we collect when you book or get in touch, why we need it, and how long we keep it. In short: only what we need for the show, and not for long.

Who we are

Cinder-Reading: Last Orders at Midnight is a not-for-profit community production, put on by the Cinder-Reading production team. Jamie David is our contact for anything to do with your personal information. You can reach him at privacy@cinder-reading.co.uk.

What we collect and why

We collect only what we need to run the show.

  • Tickets, after-party places and merchandise. When you book through our Ticket Tailor checkout, we receive your name, email address, what you bought and which performance you chose. We use this to issue your tickets, manage entry on the night, hand over merchandise and contact you if anything about your booking changes. We do this because it is needed to fulfil your booking.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to tickets@, press@ or any other cinder-reading.co.uk address, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you.
  • Visiting this website. The site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

We will not send you marketing, add you to a mailing list or contact you about anything other than your booking or your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your information with anyone else. We use two service providers, who handle it on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments:

  • Ticket Tailor runs our ticket and merchandise checkout. Payments are handled by Ticket Tailor’s payment provider, and we never see your full card details. Ticket Tailor’s checkout may use its own cookies, which its privacy and cookie policies cover.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards emails sent to our addresses.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We delete booking details and email correspondence within six months of the final performance, by 13 June 2027 at the latest.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email privacy@cinder-reading.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
